Of all the ways to get our attention, chief among them is a recommendation from a writer or critic we respect.

The agency does not consider original screenplays, books for very young readers, or genre fiction such as romance or sci-fi.

Regrettably, it has been over a decade since the agency has taken on any work of fiction for representation. There’s always that glimmer of hope, but the grim fact is we haven’t been sufficiently moved by what comes in over the transom. We concede that this dearth is owing to other agents’ success in consistently attracting the brightest new prospects, and we direct you to them. (If you found us, you know who they are.)

We continue to welcome literary estates of favorite authors in all genres.
